Dairy producers can still sign up for opportunity to tour some of Europe’s leading dairy units, as part of a unique trip organised by Alltech.
The four-day study tour, which is taking place from November 20 to 24, 2017, will see like-minded producers from across Europe visit a variety of herd in Germany, Netherlands, France, and Ireland.
“The Alltech Euro Tour is a great opportunity for UK producers to see, first hand, the latest innovations and technologies being adopted in each country,” says Alltech’s UK manager Fergal McAdam. He adds that delegates will also be able to meet and network with more than 150 delegates from around Europe.
The tour starts in Berlin and will finish at Alltech’s European Bioscience Centre in Dunboyne, Ireland. “The host farms have been carefully selected and include a unit in Germany that’s developing its own brand of milk and a French herd that specialises in genetics.”
Mr McAdam adds that participants will also enjoy a host of social, cultural and sight-seeing activities at each stop along the way.
