A teat spray and dip, formulate to help manage the wear and tear of multiple daily milkings, has been launched by Envirosystems. Designed originally for use in robotic milking systems, but suitable for all parlour set ups, EnviroCare Unique can be used both pre- and post-milking.

Unique to the UK, it contains a human cosmetic ingredient that’s used in nipple cream for breastfeeding mums. The proprietary formulation makes it a potent germ-killer, with natural skin conditioning and exfoliating properties for soft supple teats, according to the company.

No sticky film

It leaves no sticky film that could attract soiling after milking. And spills and drips that enter drainage water are both non-toxic and biodegradable.

The product is available in 20-litre or 200-litre drums, direct from Envirosystems
